The Winger American Legion Post 200 recently placed this new monument for Nels T. Wold at his grave site at Elim cemetery 1/2 mile south east of Winger. The Post plans on doing some work on his grave site and hopefully will have a dedication ceremony this fall once everything is done. The stone work and engraving for the new monument was done by Stennes Granite from East Grand Forks. The stone is Mesabi Granite from Minnesota.
