The Grabowska triplets stayed cool with freezies! They are the children of Scott and JoLynn Grabowska. On display inside of the depot, were old service uniforms. The dress out front belonged to Corporal Edna Omlid, and was a Veteran Uniform donated by Loren & Ardis Race & family. The Minnesota Northwestern Electric Railway Depot was a stop on the Historical Buildings Tour over the weekend in Goodridge. The railway traveled from Thief River Falls to Goodridge (October 12, 1914 - March 14, 1940) making 15 stops along the way. The Depot served the Goodridge area and later went to Grygla, where it was a post office for 50 years before eventually making it back to Goodridge. Eagle Creek entertained the crowd under the big tent during Friday night’s street dance in Goodridge. There was plenty of free entertainment and music throughout the weekend, which included Eagle Creek, an ‘Old Time Dance with Julie Lee’, Sons of Norway Kringen Accordion Band, Ca Claque French Canadian Folk music, The 57 Chevy Band, Stimulus Package and The Woodpicks, to name a few! The two are 1976 Goodridge graduates who attended the Goodridge All School Reunion Program that was held in conjunction with the Good-ridge Centennial Celebration over the holiday weekend. The two high school friends had a happy reunion! The Goodridge Area Historical Society held building tours over the weekend at the Goodridge Centennial, which included a stop at the H. Christianson & Sons General Store (Country Store & Museum). The store is the only original building left on Main Street today, which opened as a general store in 1914-1915.
