Gonvick Fire Department fund raiser set for May 16

The yearly Gonvick Fire Department Spring Fundraiser is upon us. They are inviting all area residents and landowners to their annual pulled pork dinner, on Saturday, May 16, at the Gonvick Fire Department Hall.
The funds raised this year will be for ongoing training and upgrading of their equipment so they can better serve the community. They are constantly updating/repairing firefighting gear, radios, generators, tools, pumps, medical supplies, SCBA, and maintaining the trucks on a regular basis. Your donation goes directly to support Gonvick Fire & Rescue.
They will serve from 5:00 to 8:00 for those of you that can attend. Come meet, and talk with the Volunteer Firefighters who serve the community. Bring the family and eat great food.
You can also see the new addition that is being built with the money that was donated by John and Faye Hedin.
They hope that you will all participate in the event and extend your support which will enable them to serve you better in the future. It allows your Volunteer Firefighters to provide you with protection at a continual level of readiness. They hope to see lots of people there to make it a success.
