Holiday Hearts & Orange Ribbons Fundraiser

Holiday Hearts & Orange Ribbons Fundraiser Coming to Bagley Public Library on Nov. 1

BAGLEY, MN — A local shopping experience is coming to town this fall, offering community members a festive way to jumpstart their holiday shopping while directly supporting area veterans and seniors.

The Holiday Hearts & Orange Ribbons Vendor Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, November 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Bagley Public Library.

The event features a vendor show alongside a silent auction, games, and food offerings.

The upcoming fundraiser focuses heavily on community impact, splitting all proceeds between two vital local causes.

• Supporting Local Veterans: T-shirt donations collected during the event will go directly to Fund 85, a Minnesota initiative that aids veterans and their families in crisis situations. In exchange for a donation of any amount, attendees will receive a high-quality, orange long-sleeve T-shirt. Organizers note that the color choice is intentional, doubling as perfect safety gear for the upcoming fall hunting season.
• October is  Agent Orange Awareness Month to honor Vietnam veterans and highlight the long-term health effects of toxic herbicide exposure.
• Supporting Local Seniors: All funds generated from vendor registration fees(Freewill), silent auction, interactive event games, and food donations will be given to The Bagley Senior Center Meals Program to help sustain nutritional services for area elders.

Organizers are currently looking to fill remaining booth spaces and are actively encouraging local artisans, crafters, and direct-sales representatives to participate.

"We want to encourage everyone to wear their orange to support local veterans and our seniors this fall," organizers shared in a statement. “This is a wonderful opportunity to support two incredibly meaningful local causes under one roof."

Area residents are invited to drop in throughout the day on November 1 to browse the vendor booths, enjoy the food, bid on auction items, and pick up their orange supporter apparel.

Interested vendors or individuals looking to donate silent auction items are requested to call 218-401-1651 for more details.
