Bagley Community Theatre Kicks Off New Season

The magic is back in Bagley!

On Tuesday, September 22, the Bagley Community Theatre got its new season underway with a fun and heartwarming first meeting.

The evening began with a look back at last year's musical, A Christmas Carol. Cast members got their first chance to see the slideshow, with lots of smiles and memories from a wonderful production.

Leading us once again is the talented Marilyn Hood as director. Year after year, Marilyn has proven she can pull off amazing performances in such a short time, and we are so lucky to have her at the helm again.

This year's show is — drumroll — Elf The Musical!

The show will run the first weekend in December, Thursday through Sunday, at the Bagley High School Auditorium.

A very large cast is needed, so there is a place for everyone:

• 10 main characters who must be able to sing a solo
• Ensemble roles including shoppers, Macy's employees, and office workers
• And we REALLY NEED 3-4 fantastic fake Santas who will be dancing — while sitting!

Seventeen enthusiastic community members were in attendance for this first meeting, and the excitement is already building.

Auditions officially start Tuesday, September 29, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bagley High School Auditorium. Come be a part of the holiday magic!
