Veteran’s Day programs scheduled in Grygla and Goodridge

The Grygla School will be hosting a Veteran’s Day Program this Monday, November 12th, at 9am in the Gymnasium. The program schedule will include Presentation of Colors, GHS Band selection, Invocation and Memorial History, Girls and Boys State Representative Address, Student Service Project, Student Poem Reading, Benediction and Retiring of Colors. The Presentation and Retiring of Colors will be led by the American Legion Post #162.

If anyone would like to visit at the Veterans Memorial in Grygla following the ceremony, let one of our local Veterans know.

There will also be a program at the Goodridge School that same day at 2pm. The High School Band and Choir concert will be merged with the Veteran’s Day program. The concert will include Prelude Music by the 7-12 grade Band, Presentation of Colors, Address by Girls State Representatives, Americana Musical Selections by the High School Band and Choir, Guest Speaker Scott Guidry and Taps, followed by the Retiring of Colors.
