Jerry Erickson receives Quilts of Valor
Jerry Erickson Among Three Veterans Honored with Quilts of Valor at Clearwater County Fair
Jerry Erickson graduated from Clearbrook High School with the Class of 1969. Later that year, he enlisted in the United States Army.
Erickson completed basic training at Fort Lewis, Washington, where he was recognized as an outstanding trainee. He then received advanced training on Vulcan and Chaparral armored air-defense systems and was granted a secret security clearance. He earned recognition as an honor graduate of his advanced training.
Erickson served with the 4th Army Division as a senior gunner on armored air-defense systems. He was honorably discharged in 1971 with the rank of specialist four.
Following his military service, Erickson worked as the fleet manager for a mobile medical company.
Erickson is a proud member of Melvin Johnson American Legion Post 256 in Clearbrook. His Quilt of Valor was presented with heartfelt gratitude for his service and sacrifice.
