Gonvick Rodeo is set for July 14 and 15

It is that time again for the Gonvick Lions Rodeo. There will be a full nine event rodeo on Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. They will both be held at 6:00 p.m. The full nine event rodeo will feature Wojo’s Rodeo company.
The Lions will be having a parade on Saturday with registration from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. before the start of the parade at 2:00 p.m.
Advance tickets for the rodeo are available at Northern Bait and Convenience, (NB&C) and Northern State Bank in Gonvick. In Clearbrook they can be purchased at Y-92 C-Store and First State Bank. They can also be purchased at Shorty’s Place in Gully.
The Gonvick American Legion Post 304 and Auxiliary will be serving a Rodeo Meal on Saturday, July 15 from 3:30 to 5:30 after the parade. They will be at the air conditioned Gonvick American Legion Cabin. You will have time to relax before the start of the rodeo at 6:00 p.m.
They will be serving BBQ’s, calico beans, macaroni salad and a variety of bars.
