Gonvick Lions Club meeting January 17
Gonvick Lions Club meeting
The Gonvick Lions Club held their Christmas party at the home of JJ and Kim Solberg on Saturday January 17. Food, games, Christmas present exchange and watching the football games. Despite the blowing snow and cold weather, it was warm inside.
The club has committed to their 36th annual rodeo that they have scheduled for the second weekend in July 2026. They are planning to have a clown this year as well to fill the time while the riders are getting ready for their event.
They held a very successful Christmas event with baskets to area citizens and providing many items that were delivered to children at the school. This was their first year with the delivery to the school and they plan to make that part of their annual holiday tradition.
They are looking for letters from students who received scholarship money so that they can finish up that account.
