Clearwater Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club Celebrates 40 Years

The Clearwater Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club celebrated its 40th anniversary on Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a special celebration at the Bagley American Legion Hall.

The evening included dinner, a program, prizes, and music provided by D&S Entertainment, giving members, past and present officers, and guests an opportunity to celebrate four decades of snowmobiling and community involvement.

Club President Dave Cole welcomed everyone to the celebration. Terry Hoie, the club’s first president in 1986, shared the history of the organization and reflected on its beginnings. Chad Dyrdahl introduced the club’s past and present officers and trail directors, recognizing those who have helped the club grow and continue its work over the years.

Gail Friborg also spoke about Minnesota snowmobile laws and licensing requirements, providing helpful information for snowmobilers.

Guests enjoyed snowmobile trivia, door prizes, and an evening of dancing and fellowship. A special thank-you goes to Troy Jesness for displaying a 2026 Polaris snowmobile and Randy Sims for bringing his 1986 Arctic Cat Pantera, offering a look at snowmobiles from two different generations.

The Clearwater Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club would like to thank everyone who helped organize the celebration, those who contributed displays and prizes, and everyone who attended and made the 40th anniversary such a memorable occasion.
