Clearwater County 4-H Youth Compete at 2026 Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show

Clearwater County 4-H was well represented at the 2026 Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show, where five local 4-H members had the opportunity to showcase their horsemanship skills and knowledge. Those attending were Lydia Martin, Evelyn Warmbold, Kaitlyn Crane, Arelli McCollum and Corryn Lundberg.

The State Horse Show gives 4-H members from across Minnesota an opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have developed throughout the year while competing in a variety of horse events. Clearwater County’s participants represented their county with enthusiasm, sportsmanship and hard work.

Lydia Martin had an outstanding showing in the 8th-grade competition, earning 5th place in Barrels and 6th place in Jumping Figure 8.

Kaitlyn Crane earned 5th place in Jumping Figure 8 in the 8th-grade competition.

Arelli McCollum earned an impressive 3rd place in the Key Race in the 6th-grade competition.

Evelyn Warmbold and Corryn Lundberg also had great performances at the State Horse Show, completing clean runs and doing a great job in their respective disciplines.

The State Horse Show is a wonderful opportunity for 4-H members to put their hard work and preparation into action while learning valuable lessons in horsemanship, sportsmanship and dedication. Clearwater County 4-H is proud of all five participants and the way they represented the county at the 2026 Minnesota 4-H State Horse Show.
