Many attended the fun filled day at the Clearbrook-Leonard Senior Center. After the meal they enjoyed music provided by Barb Torgerson and Mary Ann Lewis. They also held an auction of many items that caused laughs and smiles to those in attendance. Russ Lembke was the auctioneer for the event.

Wadena County Commissioner Chuck Horsager visited the Clearwater County Commissioners meeting on December 31. He says, "Some similarities with our county and Clearwater County meetings can be seen in formalities. But all present sign in at Wadena County, and meetings are held in the court room." Another difference, he said is they have done away with wearing suits and ties in Wadena.
