Science Fair
Students in Clearbrook-Gonvick seventh to ninth grades took part in the 4th Annual Bear Share and Science Fair held at the school. Science Fair displays, other displays and demonstrations were held in the gym and commons on Thursday, April 23. A Book Fair was also held in the Conference Room.
Students who won first place in the 9-10 division were Alison Johnson & Liz Bodensteiner with their display “The Painless Project”, second place winners were Jeanette Ballard & Tifanni Brusewitz “Distraction & Reaction,” and third place were Carlie Bergerson & Hanna Lavin with “Healthy Hair.”
Students winning first place in the 7-8 division were Meosha Hammer with her project “Got Milk?”, second place Kristin Weems with her project “What Helps to Preserve Apples Better?, and third place had a tie with two projects, Callie Baker with “Which Soil Type Grows Plants the Best?, and Jackielynn Taflin and Allison Lewis with their project “Does Your Blood Pressure Change After Playing a Violent Video Game?’
The Art Department had a variety of drawing, painting and digital projects on display. Many things were going on in both wings of the school with elementary, Science, Industrial Tech, FFA and English. The football team held a spaghetti feed to make funds for various equipment.
