Services for Ben Hromidko

Ben Hromidko, 91, of Bagley, MN, died on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bagley with Father Chuck Huck officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 with a family service at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bagley, MN. Interment will be at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Bagley, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Ben was born on January 4, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Joseph and Mary (Blazek) Hromidko. He attended Bagley Schools and married Carol Thorson on May 7, 1952 in Bagley, MN. Ben did a little carpentry work but mainly farmed. Ben especially loved all aspects of farming; he cut his last field of hay the summer of 2014 at the age of 90. He loved deer hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family. Ben enjoyed visiting over a cup of coffee, telling stories and going to the Sale Barn on Thursdays. Ben’s grandsons were is pride and joy and he always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye.

Brother-in-law – Gary Neill of Bagley, MN

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Charles, Joseph and Frank; sister Sylvia Olson-Branden; and Nephews - Norman Hromidko and Rodney Olson.
