RLCC Wrestling Triangular

Red Lake County Central High School in Oklee held a Wrestling Triangular Friday, January 15. RLCC’s wrestling team, the Mustangs, participated against Park Rapids and Prairie Valley.

Red Lake County Central played against Prairie Valley. RLCC lost 31-45. Bryce Bergerson (106 lbs.) pinned Mason Schroeder in 3:59. Tyler Sandahl (120 lbs.) won 10-3 in a decision against Brendan Johnson. Ben Kolling (132 lbs.) won a 15-7 decision against Zach Olson. Dylan Gustafson (138 lbs.) pinned Carter Rokes in 2:47. Tristyn Ferguson (152 lbs.) pinned Bryce Carr in 1:48. Kyle Gagner (160 lbs.) lost 5-1 decision against Tom Leeseburg. George Duden (182 lbs.) was pinned by Levi Line in 1:26. Nick Pahlen (195 lbs.) was pinned by Josh McKeown in 1:46. Alec Castaneda (220 lbs.) and Tristan Larson (Heavy Weight) both won by forfeit. Prairie Valley Wrestlers Brock Peterson (113 lbs.), Trevor Arceneau (126 lbs.), Austin Carr (145 lbs.), Nolan Hart (170 lbs.), all won by forfeit.

At 126 pounds, Kaden Safratowich won by forfeit for Park Rapids. At 132 pounds, Park Rapids’ Nolan Booge pinned Ben Kolling in 1:01. At 138 pounds, Jared Sunram won 13 to 0 for the Park Rapids by major decision against Dylan Gustafson. At 145 pounds, Logan Johnson from Park Rapids won by forfeit. At 152 pounds, Cody Dravis had a fall over RLCC’s Tristyn Ferguson in 0:52. At 160 pounds, Park Rapids’ Justin Dravis pinned Kyle Gagner in 0:12. At 170 pounds Zach Nelson from Park Rapids won by forfeit. At 182 pounds Zach Hokking pinned Mustang George Duden in 0:14. At 195 pounds, Keith McDaniel won by a 13-4 major decision for Park Rapids over RLCC’s Nick Pahlen. At 220 pounds, Park Rapids’ Jacob Bittmann had a fall over Mustangs’ Alec Casteneda in 2:27. At the heavyweight class RLCC’s Tristan Larson pinned Logan Veo in 0:21.
