RLC Rebels Track and Field recognize athletes at banquet
Sixteen athletes and five managers received letter awards and fifteen athletes and two managers were recognized with participation certificates. The following were the letter winners Madison Thompson, Cody Gagner, Wyatt Schirrick, Devin Lambert, Ashley Longtin, Dylan Gustafson, Nick Plante, Madison Derosier, Jozi Halvorson, Josie Huot, Megan LaCrosse, Jordan Johnson, Julia Bernstein, Zoe Russillo, Makenzie Williams, Chris Longtin, Gabbi Baird (Manager), Brady Grove (Manager), Josh Lytle (Manager), Brian Roue (Manager), and Chandler Erickson (Manager). The following were the participation certificate recipients Barrette Boutain, Marcus Christensen, Shayla Lallier, David Dufault, Chase Magner, Nick Pahlen, Mya Johanneck, Isaac Eskeli, Connor Lambert, Justin Nemec, Britain Arlt, Lane Renner, DJ Bernstein, Bella Russillo, Sydney Melby (Manager), Jade Person (Manager).
The Team also recognized individuals with Team awards. The Most Valuable Track Athlete went to Cody Gagner and Megan LaCrosse. The Most Valuable Field Athlete went to Wyatt Schirrick, Madison Thompson and Ashley Longtin. The Rookie of the Year went to Chris Longtin. The Most Improved went to Wyatt Schirrick and Zoe Russillo. The RLC Award went to Josie Huot and Connor Lambert. The Will to Win Athlete went to Nick Plante, Josie Huot, Julia Bernstein, Makenzie Williams, and Megan LaCrosse.
Three Rebels were also awarded Most Valuable Athlete Award for the Pine to Prairie Conference Meet. Cody Gagner was named Most Valuable Track Athlete. Wyatt Schirrick and Madison Thompson were named Most Valuable Field Athlete.
As coaches we are very proud of this group of athletes. We say good bye to a great senior class, but look forward to our returning athletes for next season.
