Services for Zola Ann Peterson
Zola Ann Peterson, 77, of Bagley, MN, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home in Bagley, MN.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church in Bagley, MN. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley, MN, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at New Port Cemetery in Cottage Grove, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Zola was born in Shevlin, Minnesota on October 19, 1940, the daughter of William and Faye (Rohrer) Osborn. She was baptized and confirmed at Clearwater Lutheran Church in Shevlin, MN. She graduated from Bagley High School in June of 1958 and went on to attend cosmetology school in Thief River Falls, MN. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Peterson on August 8, 1959 in St. Paul, MN.
Zola worked at many places including Hartz/Kubiak’s for fourteen years and at Team Industries for fourteen years before retiring in 2008. She loved to crochet, knit, and color. She was an avid bird watcher and loved spending time outdoors enjoying nature’s beauty. Zola loved her family dearly, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be tremendously missed.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Peterson of Bagley, MN; her children, Derek (Chrissie) Peterson of Virginia, MN, Denise (Tony Alemhoca) Peterson of New Hope, PA, Christian (Amy) Peterson of San Antonio, TX, and Jennifer (Jason) West of Solway, MN; her grandchildren, Robert (Courtney) Haveman of Yardley, PA, Abbi (David) Telford of Gilmore City, IA, Sam (Fran) Peterson of South Carolina, Terrin Peterson of Eau Claire, WI, JacQuell Peteron of Eau Claire, WI, Kari (Kareem) Al-Thanon of Bagley, MN, Elise West of Bagley, MN, Kiya West of Solway, MN, and Morgan West of Solway, MN; her great grandchildren, Kash, Kenneth, Larry, Roman, Lincoln, and Beverly; and many other loved relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Faye Osborn; her parents-in-law, Christian and Bernice Peterson; and her daughter, Angela Lynn.
