Services for Yvonne Rose Boucher
Yvonne Rose Boucher, of Mentor, MN passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee with Father Adam Hamness Officiating. Burial will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at Oklee, MN.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018, from 5 – 8 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Yvonne Rose Boucher was born September 8, 1946 daughter of Charles and Rose (Asselin) Lessard at Crookston, MN. She was raised in the Oklee area where she attended school graduating in 1965. She moved to Milwaukee, WI where she worked at Patrick Cudahy meat processing plant and a photo lab.
She returned to Oklee in 1967 where she worked at Third Base in Brooks, MN until 1976 when she moved to Mentor. Yvonne managed the Municipal Liquor store in Mentor for many years retiring in 2008. She also worked at Arctic Cat for a short time.
Yvonne enjoyed cooking and baking, flower and vegetable gardening, feeding and watching birds, fishing, road trips, watching her grandchildren playing basketball, and spending time outdoors. She was a people person who loved to visit. Most of all she loved the time spent with family and friends.
Yvonne is survived by loving companion Chuck Schear of Mentor, MN; children Eric (Lisa) Gustafson of Lester Prairie, MN, Kory (Tara) Gustafson of Littlefork, MN, Melanie (Darin) Glass of Mentor, MN, and Tony (Marcy) Gustafson of Littlefork, MN; grandchildren Nik (Kelsey) Gustafson, would have become a great grandma in July; Amy (Tanner) Keitzman, Ashley Glass, Blake Glass, Keegan Gustafson, KoDee and KamBree Gustafson; sisters-in-law Mary Lessard, Ione Lessard, Louise Lessard, Lou Lessard; brother-in-law Phillip Tougas and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Delores (Frederick) Berberich, Ray (Mary Ann) Lessard, George (Dorothy) Lessard, Theresa (Elmer) Champagne, Vern Lessard, Maurice Lessard, Marie (Melvin) Mercil, Kenneth Lessard, Walter Lessard, Marcella (Ernie) Tougas, Harold Lessard, Robert “Terry” Lessard, and Sharon Tougas.
