Services for Sandra “Sandy” Jean Anderson

Sandra “Sandy” Jean Anderson, 71, of Solway, Minnesota died on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at The Real Life Christian Fellowship in Wilton, Minnesota with Pastor Keith Willard. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Sandy was born on June 1, 1950 in Bagley, MN to Willie and Audrey (Hayes) Anderson. She graduated Bagley High School in 1968. She worked a variety of jobs throughout her life, but first and foremost she was a Mother to everyone.

Sandy enjoyed the Spring season and all its activities such as planting flowers, trees, and gardening. She loved hunting and fishing, picnics, family gatherings, visiting over a cup a of Folger’s Coffee and a game of cribbage, the occasional trip to the casino, and of course any and every new baby, no matter the species.

She is survived by her brother, Gary Anderson of Shevlin, MN; her children, Kevin (Carmie) Evenwoll of Shevlin, MN, Brian Platt of Solway, MN, and Kristy Platt of Bagley, MN; her 12 grandchildren, Triston Hutson, Jacob (Shania) Fisher, Trisha Hutson, Shianne Hutson, Shelby Hutson, Dylan Hutson, Alexa Hutson, Jonna Seifert, Joe (Allie) Trego, Sarine Trego, Tamara (Cyrus) Kliner, and Gunnar DuPaul; 7 great grandchildren; her beloved dog, Otis; and many other loved family  and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Audrey Anderson; her sons, Donnie Dale Hutson and Ronnie Todd Hutson; her brother, Donnie Anderson; and her sister, Charlie Anderson.
