Services for Roger Wayne Lundmark

Roger Wayne Lundmark, 82, of Clearbrook, Minnesota passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. Lunch and celebration of life to be held following services at the American Legion in Bagley. Arrangements are with the Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley.
Roger was born August 18, 1939, in Shevlin, Minnesota to parents Hugo Roger Lundmark and Myrtle (Julin) Lundmark. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith.
Roger attended and graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1957. After which, he worked various jobs on a farm, worked on the ore boats on the Great Lakes, and worked on the pipeline in New Mexico.
He married Janet Boe on January 14, 1961, in Bagley, Minnesota. During their time together, they had two children and five grandchildren. They started their lives together in Minneapolis and Roger started his career in communications with Western Electric in the Bell Telephone office, downtown Minneapolis. In 1963, he was drafted into the Army. He spent two years in Fort Rucker, Albama. Then, returned to Minnesota and returned to work at Western Electric, where he traveled and obtained various training until 1973 at which time they returned to Leonard, Minnesota. He lived and worked in the area until 1985 when he then transferred to the east coast and continued working until his retirement in 1990. They returned to Minnesota, where they built a home and Roger spent about two years retired before returning to work with Garden Valley Telephone Company where he worked approximately 10 more years before retiring again. But, not quite, he did drive truck hauling beets for a farmer in Fosston for about five year. 
Roger was a member of the American Legion in Bagley. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, reading, playing cards and stopping into Leonard, having coffee and playing cribbage at the cafe.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet; his sister, Carole Tollefson of Fosston, Minnesota; his daughter, Jennifer (Byron) Nelson of Clearbrook, Minnesota (and their son, Justin Nelson of Clearbrook, Minnesota); and son, Jeffrey (Sherie) Lundmark of Grand Forks, North Dakota (and their children, Dylan Stavens, Matt Stavens, Thomas (Crystal) Lundmark, and Allison Lundmark of Grand Forks, North Dakota); Brothers-in-law, Ron (Bernie) Boe of Bejou, Minnesota; Doug (Rene) Boe of North Branch, Minnesota; Greg (Patsy) Boe of Clearbrook, Minnesota; and Bruce Boe (Jeanne Anderson) of Prior Lake, Minnesota; Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.
He was preceded in death by father, Hugo Lundmark; mother, Myrtle Julin Lundmark-Evans; stepdad, Scott Evans; mother-in-law, Helen Boe; and father-in-law, Jeffery (Jack) Boe; brother-in-law, Millerd Tollefson; and infant sister-in-law, Alice Mae Boe.
