Robert Julius Hagen, 76 years old passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 9:45am at Paris Healthcare Center in Paris, TN.
Robert Hagen was born on December 3, 1940 to parents Oliver Selmer Hagen and Juletta May (Richards) Hagen in Clearbrook, MN.
He was united in marriage to Dale Bea Hagen on September 18, 1980 on a beautiful Riverboat in Roma, Alabama.
Bob attended school at Clearbrook High School, Clearbrook, MN. He entered into the US Navy on Jan 6, 1958, and served our country on board the USS Kittyhawk CVA 63. Later Bob, did several different jobs that included: hair stylist, pipeline, time share sales, and over the road trucking.
Survivors include his wife Dale and his six children: Pamela (Roy) Quamme of Redwing, MN; Tracy (Ken) Roland, of Sioux Falls, SD; Kim (Grant) Nelson, of Watertown, SD; Kristi (Tim) Rufer, of Strandburg, SD; Eric (Melissa) Hagen, of Ooltewah, TN and Robbie Hagen of Watertown, SD. Also surviving: his brother Richard (Linda) Hagen of Plymouth, MN; several beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchild, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Marlen Hagen and Laurel Hagen.
Bob enjoyed sipping his morning coffee while watching the squirrels and other wildlife play outside from his back deck. He enjoyed reading books from Brother Barry to his wife Dale Hagen. He enjoyed fishing and later enjoyed making crafts, he began making mice out of acorns. Bob, had a charismatic personality, he kept you enticed in a story, from the start to finish, until you roared with laughter, he could charm anyone. He died from bladder cancer that spread thru out his body. His loving wife Dale took care of him in their home up to the time that she broke her back and he had to be put in the care center.
On his last night alive a poem was read to him by his daughter Tracy from his great granddaughter Isabella where it gave him the road map and instructions to let go and get to heaven.
A private memorial will be held at the Paris Healthcare Center, in Paris, TN on April 29, 2017, by his wife Dale and daughter Tracy & family, to give back to those in need and give thanks to the care givers, whom cared for Bob.

He will be greatly missed by all!
