Services pending for Hazel Grace Dolalie

Hazel Grace Dolalie, 93, Gully Minnesota was born to parents August and Tillie Johnson December 22, 1921 on the family farm located on the west side of Pine Lake.  She passed away June 15, 2015 at her daughter’s home in rural Clearbrook.  

She graduated from the Gonvick School.  She married Elvin Dolalie on January 15, 1945 and they lived and farmed together until Elvin’s death in 1988.  She remained living alone on the family farm until 2004 and then moved to a house in Gully.  Throughout her life in Berner she was active in the Ladies Aid, taught many years of Sunday school, was church pianist and especially enjoyed getting flowers on the alter for Sunday services.  She loved her family, friends and neighbors.  Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, tending to her flowers and keeping her yard just perfect. 

Surviving are her daughter Corrinne (Tom) Anderson of Clearbrook, MN, and son Darrell of Gully, MN.  She had six grandchildren, seven great grand children and several nieces and nephews.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, sister and many brother and sister-in-laws.

A memorial service will be held at the United Church in Berner at a later date.
