Services for Patty Lundmark

Mrs. Peggy June Lundmark, age 73, a resident of Bishop, Texas, passed away on November 15, 2021, in Corpus Christi after a valiant battle with cancer. Her courage and strength was remarkable.

Peggy was born on August 11, 1948, to John and Velma Collier in Seguin, Tx.

Peggy was an avid reader who could sit and read for hours on her Nook tablet; she was in seventh heaven.

Peggy loved spending time tending to her flowers and garden. Her favorite flower was the sunflower. One year Dad planted the field behind the house with nothing but sunflowers. She was so ecstatic! She also enjoyed feeding and watching the butterflies, hummingbirds, sparrows, and doves that would hang around near the house.

One of her favorite places to visit was Buggs Island Lake in Boydton, VA. Many summer family vacations were spent camping, boating, and fishing on the lake. She also enjoyed sitting with her toes in the water and soaking up the summer sun.

Peggy was predeceased in death by her father and mother, John and Velma Collier; sisters, Beverly Lanmon and Janet Chaddock; and brother, Michael Collier.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald, and their children, Cheryl Schoop (Robert) of Chesapeake, VA, and Billy Lundmark of Virginia Beach, VA. She has two grandchildren who she adored and loved very much, Kyle and Shelby.

The Lundmark family sincerely thank the many doctors and nurses who treated Peggy with care and compassion during her illness. Peggy lived life to the fullest and could truly say her cup runneth over.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Charity.
