Services for Myron Leon Pederson

MYRON LEON PEDERSON

March 7, 1943 –June 24, 2016

     Myron, born and raised in McIntosh, Minnesota, moved to California in 1964, peacefully passed away, being survived by his wife, Bonnie, mother, Minnie Smith, sisters, Muriel (John) Rice, Carole (Carl) Ryken, Betty Ferguson, brother, James (Pam) Pederson, stepsons, Christopher Aasen, Brian Aasen, three nieces, Alison, Erica, Hiliary, one nephew, Andrew, and  four grandchildren.

     He retired from Operating Engineers Union Local 3, after 47 years.  He enjoyed NASCAR Racing, classic cars, vacationing on Maui, and getting together with his family and friends.

     He was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church, Castro Valley, CA, serving on numerous committees and enjoying many outings with the Kruisers Group.

     A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 9, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley, CA with a reception to follow.  A special service, with interment, will be held in McIntosh, MN at a later date.
