Melody Ann (Aos) Skerik, 63, of Debs, Minnesota died unexpectedly as a result of a automobile accident on Thursday, June 10, 2021.
A Potluck Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the Melody Skerik home in Debs, Minnesota. If anyone would like directions, please reach out to her children Amanda or Michael.
The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Melody Ann was born on July 25, 1957 in Mackenback Germany. She grew up and attended school in Texas and Colorado. She lived on a Military Base with her mother in Germany Ramstien until 1959, until moving to a Military Base in Newark, NJ. In 1961, she lived in Wichita Falls, Texas before moving to Lowrey Airforce Base in 1966. Melody and her family lived in Denver until 1975, when the family finally settled in Bagley, MN. Later Melody settled in Debs, MN for 30+ years, she had a green thumb and enjoyed working outside.
She is survived by her children-Amanda (Colby) Thorssen and Michael (Darla) Gregory
Siblings- Alan (Monica) Aos, Alice (Al) Aos, Gunder Aos, Bill (Ember) Roach, LeeAnn (Antonio) Torres and Melody Switaj; her grandkids, Kali (Sonny) Knox, Lani Thorssen, Kayden Thorssen, Shelby Brown, Ella Brown, and Layla And Dawson Berg; her great grandkids, Cinch Bakke, Lexie Knox, and Cheyenne Knox; her nieces and nephews- Cody (Cortney) Severson, Cory Fogelquist, Gordon Aos, Jayden Aos, Ashley (Jon) Hawkinson, Robert Roach, Enrico Capone, and Alison Switaj; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her boyfriend Christian Hansen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Barbara Aos; infant son Kristopher Hughes; husband Paul Skerik; and biological mom-Lieselotte Packowski.
