Services for Marcia Leann Rouland
Marcia Leann Rouland, 46, of Clearbrook and Gully, MN, went to the loving arms of her Savior and family that had gone before her on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, MN. A visitation will be on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley, MN with a Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m.; a visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Lund Lutheran Cemetery in Gully, MN. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with the arrangements.
She was born in Baudette, MN on March 4, 1970, the daughter of Duane and Arvilla (Spicer) Rouland. Her family returned to Gully, where she was raised and grew up. She graduated from Fosston High School in 1988. She went on to attend Bemidji State University and then went to Northland Technical College in Thief River Falls to obtain her LPN. She attended and graduated the program there with her mother.
Marci was a very compassionate nurse and she worked at several nursing homes, hospitals, and health care facilities in the Twin Cities, but primarily in Clearwater and Polk Counties. She was involved in Sand Valley Lutheran Church in Trail and Lund Lutheran Church in Gully as head of the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School programs. Her love of children and sense of fun was showered upon not only her own children, but her nieces and nephews, and all the children who knew her. Marci opened her heart and home to stray animals and others in need. She loved country living and small town life. She enjoyed gardening and always had beautiful flower beds.
Marci will be tremendously missed by all who truly knew her, especially her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Lane Watne and Danielle Watne; her father, Duane Rouland; her siblings, Dan (Leah) Rouland, Miles (Brenda) Rouland, and Lori( Bob) Burgess; her nieces and nephews, Brianna, Lee, Blake, MaCayla, Jonathan, Matthew, Brandi, Tyler, Mitch, Angela, and Luke; her great niece, Jordyn; and many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Arvilla Rouland; and her grandparents.
