Lawrence “Larry” Killian of rural Plummer, MN passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN, with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Burial will be at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Plummer, MN.
Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at the church.
Lawrence Michial Killian was born February 28, 1947 in Fosston, MN the son of Lawrence and Fern (Jordan) Killian. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fosston, MN and attended school in Fosston.
Larry served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was Honorably Discharged.
Larry was united in marriage to Diane Carlson at St. John the Baptist Church in New Brighton, MN.
His career was in farming, chimney building and masonry. Larry had many interests including playing guitar, hunting, and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Killian; children, Gina Braswell, Adam Killian, Beth Graham, John Killian, and Rachelle Tydlacka; grandchildren, Moses Braswell, Silas Braswell, Megan Graham, Ellie Graham, Brady Graham, Camden Killian, Davin Killian, Theodore Tydlacka, and William Tydlacka; siblings, Patricia Steinle, Cecelia Nelson, Mary Altepeter, and Donald Killian; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Killian; parents, Lawrence and Fern; and siblings, Tom Killian, Margaret Cheney, and Dennis Killian.
