Services for John Fournier

John Fournier, Oklee, MN, age 62 died On Wednesday December 14, 2016 at First Care Living Center, Fosston, Mn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday December 19, 2016 at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee, MN with Father Adam Hamness Officiating. Burial at St Francis Xavier Cemetery, Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

John Isaac Fournier was born March 24, 1954 in Red Lake Falls, Mn. He was the son of Paul Fournier and Ida (Desrosier) Fournier. He was raised and attended school in Mentor, Mn.

He’s had a happy life in his small home in Oklee,Mn. He owned his own boat, and enjoyed his favorite pastime of fishing. John worked 30 years for American Crystal Sugar Company, in Crookston, Mn.

John was survived by his brother Ronald Gene Fournier (wife Donna) of White Bear Lake.Mn  and Paulette Januzewski of Erskine, Mn.  His nine nieces and nephews and 8 grand nieces and nephews.

He’s preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ida, his infant sister Juliette, his niece Connie (Januszewki) Brekke. 

John Fournier or Fred to many of his friends, was a real character.  He will be missed by us all.  

The Family of John Fournier would like to thank you for your kindness and sympathy. Please join us for the lunch and fellowship in the church basement following the burial at St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Oklee, Mn.
