Jerry “Bozo” Schwan, 54, of East Grand Forks, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 in Grand Forks.
Gerald Michael Schwan was born on May 10, 1968 in Grand Forks to Lavern and Linda (Mero) Schwan. He grew up and lived his entire life in East Grand Forks and graduated from Senior High in 1986. Jerry also known as Bozo since birth worked in construction for Hampton Corporation for 36 years. He was a people person and loved to visit with people and he also loved spending time at Pine Lake.
He is survived by his two children Lindsey Schwan and Landyn Schwan both of Grand Forks; his father Lavern Schwan of East Grand Forks, and many friends, extended family, and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his mom Linda Schwan, and grandparents Gerald and Vivian Mero and Elizabeth and Michael Schwan.
The Schwan family would like to extend their thanks to Dan Stauss and Hampton Corporation.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721 with visitation 1 hour prior. Funeral service will be live-streamed on Jerry’s page at www.dandahlfuneralhome.com
Visitation: 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721 with a prayer service at 7:00 PM also at the funeral home.
