Jean McWilliam Hagen passed away at the age of 80 on March 8, 2020 at Mountain Vista Senior Living in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. She was the first of four children born on November 1, 1939 to the late John and Margret (Hansen) McWilliam of Winger, Minnesota. Jean married Ernest L. Hagen in Winger, Minnesota on June 26, 1960. They moved to Greeley, Colorado soon after marriage to raise their family.
Jean is remembered as an avid reader and a skilled piano player who also taught piano. She was also a talented artist and volunteered many hours of her time to various Greeley organizations including Centennial Village, the Union Colony Civic Center, and gallery, the United Methodist Church, and the local 4H groups. Jean worked for Heunike and Ostercile, CPAs, in Greeley for many years until she opened her own accounting business.
Jean is survived by her daughters Stephanie (Kevin) Harvey and Shelley Hartnett. Four grandchildren, Tylor (Kristina) Weston, Elise (Lewis) Rucker, Jacqueline and Eddie Hartnett. Five great-grandchildren, Ayla, Reece and Keira Weston, and Anthony and Hagen Rucker. A brother, Bruce (LaVonne) McWilliam of Winger, Minnesota, and a sister, Susan (Orrie) Flermoen of Winger, Minnesota. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother, Jan McWilliam of Winger, Minnesota.
