Services for Jay Adam Dyrdahl

Jay Adam Dyrdahl, 47, of Clearbrook, Minnesota died on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Sanford Fargo Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Samhold Lutheran Church in Gonvick, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be held at a later date at Samhold Lutheran Cemetery. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Jay was born in Bagley, MN on May 3, 1974 to Michael and Sharen (Anderson) Dyrdahl. He was raised in Gully, MN and graduated from the Clearbrook- Gonvick High School with the class of 1992, the first class to graduate from the new combined school. Jay went on to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator for various pipelines and construction companies. Most recently, he worked for Vettleson Farms.
Jay was united in marriage to Tessa Vorderbruggen on November 2, 1996 and he gained a bonus daughter, Misty. After a few years, he and Tessa had their son, Alec together. The two later divorced. On March 12, 2016, Jay married Jana Jorgenson. They later divorced.
Jay was a member of the Local 49ers Union. He loved golfing, snowmobiling, fishing, and off-roading activities. Jay loved the dogs he had over the years. He liked nice cars and pickups, especially fast cars. He was a kind man with a good sense of humor. He was quite the prankster and made his pranks count. He will be missed.
He is survived by his children Misty Dyrdahl and Alec Dyrdahl; his parents, Mike and Sharen Dyrdahl; his brothers, Scott Dyrdahl and Trent Dyrdahl; and numerous nephews and other family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Elaine Anderson and Eugene and Wanda Dyrdahl; his uncles, Gerald Dyrdahl and Gerald Lene; and his cousin, Ross Senger.
