Services for Janice Marie Lillo

After a courageous battle with cancer, Janice Marie Lillo passed away peacefully at her home in Good Thunder, MN surrounded by her loved ones on February 7, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 1pm Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel in Mankato,MN. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services at the Woodland Hills Funeral Home. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
Janice Marie Lillo was born October 26, 1940 daughter of late Lucille Ostgard and Thomas Plante in Oklee, MN. She married Arnold Lillo on July 25, 1958 in Duluth, MN. They moved to Mankato in 1960. Janice worked at Bethany Lutheran College, Midtex, and Carlson Craft while raising their family. They moved to their home in Good Thunder in 1969.
Janice enjoyed reading, quilting, working, puzzles, and traveling. In her travels she collected bells along the way, she also enjoyed her doll collection. Janice also enjoyed many hours spent creating her beautiful flower gardens.
Janice is survived by her husband of 57 years, Arnold Lillo; son, Mark (Shelly) Lillo of Good Thunder; daughter, Tammy (Richard) Klahn of Mankato; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Sherman (Jean) Plante of Red Lake Falls and Larry (Janice) Plante of Mankato; sisters, Shirley (Robert) Elliot of Moorhead and Bonnie (Ernest) Won of Madelia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Janice was preceded in death by her son, Greg; mother, Lucille Ostgard; father, Thomas Plante; step father, Kermit Ostgard; and brother, Darel “Joe” Plante
