Services for George “Keith” Mork
George “Keith” Mork passed away at LifeCare Roseau Manor on September 23, 2020, at the age of 93. Keith was born in Crookston, MN on August 1, 1927 to George and Mary (Kiltie) Mork and brought home to Skime, MN. Keith went to school in Skime at District 86 until 8th grade and then graduated from Roseau High School School.
His first love was farm life but he also cut pulp wood in the winter months in the Beltrami Forest area. He picked potatoes in North Dakota in the fall. He planted many, many trees to preserve the land. Keith loved to hunt, take drives with his best friend “Tami”, and visit with his friends about the goings on in the community and country. He loved sports, especially hockey and baseball. Keith was a man who loved his solitude but could also talk your ear off.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Mary; brother Jim Mork and an infant brother; sister-in-law Maxine Mork; brother-in-law Hubert Olson; nephew Jim Jr; nieces Huberta and Sharon. He is survived by his sister Mavis Olson; nephew Ken (Vicki) Olson, nieces Deanna (Tim) Sorvig; Denise Olson, Stacy Anderson, Alice Mork; along with his great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best buddies Brian Olson and Tami.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Skime. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Online guest book at: www.helgesonfuneralhome.com
