Eunice Helen Christianson was born July 8, 1931 to Henry and Julia (Tveit) Christianson.  She was number 12 in a family of 18 who lived on a farm north of Oklee.   Eunice’s mother died when she was young so she cooked and did chores for the family until she married John Reinbold on June 14, 1950.  They moved to John’s family farm by Brooks and had 5 children, Bob, Sue, Jim, Ron and Pam.  Eunice worked at Oklee Mfg and sewed snow suits and snowmobile seats. And she also worked at the Arcady Inn in Oklee when they lived there.

Eunice loved being with her family, especially her kids and grandkids.  She enjoyed visiting, playing cards and tickling everyone!  She did daycare for many when they lived in Oklee and Rochester. They all lovingly called her Gramma.

Eunice spent many hours vegetable gardening and canning, baking bread and pies and she loved growing flowers, especially roses.  She loved bowling, crafts, and playing every kind of card game there was.  It wasn’t about winning but about having fun! The rules of the games changed constantly! And she always wanted to switch hands with you!

Eunice had a strong faith and loved the Lord.  She was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church of Oklee MN.  She said the Rosary daily, and was an avid collector of angels, and she enjoyed being involved with the catholic church and taught Catechism when her kids were young.

Eunice and John lived in AZ for 18 years and moved to Fosston, MN in 2003. Eunice volunteered at the Embassy Senior Site for many years.  Before John passed away in 2017, they had moved to McIntosh Senior Living in McIntosh where Eunice was loved by all the residents and staff. They were lovingly at her side when she peacefully passed away.

Survivors include her children, Bob (Suzandra) Reinbold of McIntosh, Mn; Sue (Kenny) Edgar of Thief River Falls, Mn; Jim (Lori) Reinbold of Oklee, Mn; Pam (Jim) Spong of International Falls, Mn; 17 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband John in 2017, her parents Henry and Julia, her in-laws Joseph and Mary, her son Ronnie in 2018, her granddaughter Carmen, and several siblings and sister and brothers-in-law.
