Services for Carolyn Ann George
Carolyn Ann George, 67 of Bagley passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held Friday, February 5th from 5-7pm at the Cease Family Home in Bagley. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, February 6th at 11 am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service with Pastor Bob Kirchman officiating. Interment will be at Norway Lake Cemetery in Leonard. Reception will follow at Alexis Ballard residence: 43373 141st Avenue Clearbrook, MN.
Carolyn was born December 11, 1953 in Bagley, MN. She was the daughter of Clarence Sr. and Birdie (Tenneson) George. Her family lived in the Leonard area where she attended District 52 Country School in Leonard, then Bagley High School and later received her GED. On April 18th, 1973, her daughter Priscilla was born, and two years later on June 10th, 1975 her daughter Cindi was born. Carolyn raised her two daughters in the Leonard area.
Over the years she worked various job up until she retired and worked part time as a paraprofessional at the Red Lake High School.
Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchild meant the world to her. She never missed a game event, or special occasion when it came to them. She also enjoyed attending numerous concerts with her family. She always looked forward to the yearly fourth of July camping weekend at the lake, playing games, boating, and the “fun” antics around the campfire. She was a natural caretaker, she always put everyone else first, whether it was a family member or a friend, you could always count of her to be there for them. She will be missed by all who knew her. We would like to say thank you mom and grandma for your endless love and support through the years. We love you and will forever miss you.
She is survived by her two daughters, Priscilla (Dan) Johnson of Gonvick and Cindi (Steve) Ballard of Leonard. Her five grandchildren, Alison (Austin) Kindem, Alexis (Trevor) Ballard, Aliyah Ballard, Skylar Ballard, and Carter Ballard. Her two great grandchildren, Ryder Kindem and baby Rogstad. Her sisters, Beverly (Ted) Lundmark, Marilyn Emery, Joan Thalman, Donna Wendlant. Her numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Clarence Sr., and Birdie George. Her Siblings: Tony George, Clarence George Jr., Milton George, Adeline Nelson, Georgie George, James George, Helen Mathison, Irene Kimbrell, Jean Bennett, Betty Jagalo, Merle Thalman and Robert George.
