On Tuesday, July 26, 2022, Bryan Jacobson, loving son, husband, father and devoted friend, passed away at the age of 49 in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
Bryan was born on January 15, 1973, in Crookston, MN to James and Donna Rae Jacobson. He graduated from Clearbrook-Gonvick High School in 1991 and North Dakota State University College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management in 1998. He worked in the Construction Management and Engineering fields for 23 years. On August 16, 2008, he married Vicki Schneider. He retired from the Guard in 2012.
Bryan had a passion for many things over his years. Starting with skiing, snowmobiling and deer hunting, and growing into Bison games, family vacations, lake time, church trips with Rollie and yearly trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. He cherished time with his family and friends. You would frequently see him in the yard playing with the kids or promoting a pinochle game any opportunity he had. Friends and family are going to miss his infectious smile and willingness to constantly lend a hand.
