Services for Arlene Noyes

Arlene Noyes, age 96, of Erskine, MN, passed away on Tuesday, August 25th, at the Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 4th, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in McIntosh with the Rev. Bruce Blocker officiating. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. All are welcome to attend with regulations for Covid-19 followed. Please bring your own mask. Arlene Mildred (Abrams) Noyes was born on November 24, 1923 in Erskine, Minnesota to parents Otto and Mattie (Burns) Abrams. 
Arlene was united in marriage to Fred Noyes on December 4, 1940. After their marriage, she raised her family and helped on the farm for many years. She also worked at Pioneer Memorial Care Center and Moran’s Steak House; volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and cleaned various homes in the area. Her motto was “You know it’s clean if it’s done by Arlene”.
Arlene loved playing cards, Scrabble, Bingo and taking a trip or two to the Casino! She also loved watching the Minnesota Twins. Arlene was a great cook and enjoyed cooking meals for her family.  She will be dearly missed.
She was a life-long member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in McIntosh. 
Arlene is survived by two children, Virginia Jones of Crookston, MN, and Paul (Debbie) Noyes of Erskine, MN; six grandchildren, Deanna Johnson, Mike (Anna) Leblanc, Tim (Susan) Leblanc, Abby Jones, Heather (Cory) Simonson, and Heidi (Tony) Stuhaug; great grandchildren, Melissa and Megan Johnson, Alex, Andrew, and Rachel Leblanc, Victoria, Veronica and Clara Leblanc, Carly and Ellie Simonson, Madison, Kollon and Clare Stuhaug; and two great great grandchildren. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents, Otto and Mattie Abrams; two infant children; siblings, Jewell, Margaret, Dorothy, Frank, Melvin, Don, Alfred, Spence and Ivan; great grandson, Matthew; and son-in-law, Buck Jones.
