Adeline Rogstad, 84, of Bemidji, Minnesota formally of Clearbrook, Minnesota died on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Sanford Health Neilson Place in Bemidji, Minnesota.
Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Elim Lutheran Cemetery in Clearbrook, Minnesota.
The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.
Adeline Elvera Holm was born on May 31, 1936 in Clearbrook, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Clara (Olson) Holm. Adeline grew up and was raised in Clearbrook, MN, where she was baptized and confirmed at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Gonvick, MN. She graduated from Clearbrook High School in 1954. Adeline married Merlin Rogstad on January 9, 1955 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Gonvick, MN. Together they had 3 children: Debbie, Sharon, and Wes. They lived in Westby, Montana before returning to the Clearbrook area in 1964, where they forever made their home.
Adeline cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Having get togethers at her parents’ home, while visiting with her sisters, was always a real treat; as everybody was always talking and nobody was ever listening. Other enjoyable moments were spending time on the farm, visiting with family and friends from Montana and when her sister Doris and brother-in-law Dave would visit from Seattle.
Adeline was a devoted housewife and worked for the Good Samaritan Center in Clearbrook as a kitchen aide/cook for 20+ years. She was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church in Clearbrook where she participated in the Ladies Aide.
She is survived by her:
Daughter-Sharon (Mark) Larson of Clearbrook, MN and their children:
Danny (Nicole) Larson, Matt (Melissa) Larson and David (Cali) Larson.
Son-Wes (Mary Beth) Rogstad of Clearbrook, MN and their children:
Whitney (Evan) Twedt, Tyler (Jessica) Rogstad, Trevor (Lexi) Rogstad and
Oshion Rogstad.
Grandsons: Ryan Dwight and Jared Dwight.
Great Grandchildren: Dylan, Elsa, Emma, Ava, Eric, Sawyer, Reese, Mason, Jordan and
1 due in October.

Gloria Valgren of Grand Forks, ND;
Susan (Joe) Wysoski of Fargo, ND.
Numerous nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Debbie, grandson Michael, her parents, mother and father in-law, and brother-in-law- Herb Valgren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Elim Lutheran Church.
