Myrna V. Nord passed away August 28, 2021 at the LifeCare Medical Center in Roseau at the age of 73.
Myrna was born on January 9, 1948 in Thief River Falls, MN to Omer Nesland and Myra (Dahle). She grew up in the Oklee, MN area and graduated from Oklee High School in 1966. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Moorhead State University and an LPN from Northland Community College. She and David Nord were married September 14, 1969. She worked at the Thief River Falls Hospital and for a time at the MN State Hospital in Fergus Falls. In addition, she also worked at Marvin Windows and Doors in Warroad.
She enjoyed knitting and going for drives in the Warroad area and parts of Northern MN. She will be remembered for as a loving and caring person, who always had other people’s interests at heart.
She is survived by her husband, David Nord of Warroad; daughter, Julie (Randy) Hanson of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren, Richard, Megan and Amy; siblings, Delmer Nesland, Debbra (Tony Brennan) Swanson and Mark (Anita) Nesland.
She preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jonathon Nord.
