Diane Kay Dawson of Prior Lake, MN, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer.
A service will be held on Friday, June 18th at 11:00 am at Friendship Church in Prior Lake, MN, with visitation 1 hour prior to service. The service will be officiated by Pastor Art Hanson.
Diane was born August 12, 1951 in Bagley, MN to Orville and Elaine Haugen.
She married Gary Dawson on August 30, 1985 in Lakeville, MN. Diane received an LPN degree from Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, MN. She was a devoted pediatric nurse at Park Nicollet Clinic for 35 years.
Diane is survived by her husband Gary. Stepchildren Heidi (Eric) Larson of Pequot Lakes, MN, Paul (Jennifer) Dawson of Prior Lake, MN.
Brothers and Sisters: David (Debra) Haugen of St. Louis Park, Delaine (Bill) Bjerke of Prior Lake, Darrell Haugen of Shevlin, Dale Haugen of Owatonna, Gerald (Stephanie) Haugen of Farmington, Glen (Carol) Haugen of Elk River, Gloria (Greg) Peterson of Alexandria, Orvin Haugen of Gully & Owen (Julie) Haugen of Gonvick. three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is preceded is death by her parents Orville and Elaine Haugen, brothers Dallas Haugen and Gary Haugen, niece Carla (Haugen) Carl-quist, nephews Jesse Haugen and Daniel Scullion.
Cremation Society of MN is in charge of arrangements.
