Laniyah Rain Fox, went to heaven on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rice Lake Community Center in Rice Lake, Minnesota with a visitation one hour prior. A wake will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 starting at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be held at the Samuel Memorial Episcopal Cemetery in Nay Tah Waush, Minnesota. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Laniyah Rain will live in our hearts forever.

How very softly you tiptoed in my world. Almost silently, only for a moment your footsteps have left upon my heart.

Laniyah is survived by her parents, Chauncey Oothoudt and Tanisha Fox; siblings, Zeriah, Tazyrie, and Azriel; grandparents, Alfred and Evette Fox, and Juanita Oothoudt; numerous aunties, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her uncle, Ray Fox; niece, Marley Reed; great-grandma and grandpa, Bernadine and Ray Fox, and Pauline Heitala.
