Celebration of Life for Jamie Holm

March 19, 1981 -
May 3, 2021
On Monday, May 3, 2021, Jamie Holm passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Jamie was born in Bagley, Minnesota, to Don and Linda Holm on March 19, 1981.
She graduated from Clearbrook-Gonvick High School in 1999.  Jamie liked to joke about her extensive work history, with a list including everything from port-a-potty construction to flight attendant.  Jamie had a love of music and touched many lives with her songwriting and singing. She had a way with people and left every music tour with a long list of friends.  Always creating, you may have seen Jamie sporting gloves made out of tube socks or a dress made from an old shirt.  Still somehow it made sense and was perfect. Jamie loved to repurpose things and  would never pass up a good treasure hunt.  She built many beautiful things from the items she found.
But all her adventures and undertakings couldn’t compare to the birth of her son, Seto Karr, in January 2020.  He was her greatest joy. Though her time with him was short, she loved being a mother more than anything.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Don Holm, and grandfathers, Hank Holm and Armand Fleury.
She is survived by her son Seto, her mother Linda Holm, brother Chris Holm, sister Carrie (Darrick) Haugan, nieces Bailey and Avery Haugan, nephew Elias, and grandmothers Emma Holm and Jean Fleury.
There will be a memorial celebration for Jamie at Linda’s residence June 19, 2021, with a brief service at 2:00 p.m.  Please join us as we sing songs and share stories of the great big life Jamie lived.
