Mary L. Foldoe

Mary L. Foldoe, age 71, of Bagley Minnesota, passed away on June 9th, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.

Mary was born July 16th, 1954 in Williston, North Dakota to Raymond and Adeline Thoring. The family moved to Pinewood, Minnesota in 1960and she spent her life devoted to her family, friends, and community.

On March 6th, 1976 Mary married David Foldoe, and together they built a loving family. They celebrated 50 years together this spring. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend who touched the lives of many through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support.

Mary worked as a para professional for the Bagley School District and was known for her dedication, integrity, and strong work ethic. Outside of work, she enjoyed gardening and had an enormous love for animals. She raised many fine quarter horses, a love that she passed on to her children. It was a lucky critter that found its way to Mary's doorstep… horses, dogs, cats, chickens, donkeys, and even a raccoon or two. She was well known for her sharp wit and ever present sense of humor. She had special terms of endearment for each of her family and friends. Mary had many bonus children who she adored and were always welcome to drop by at any time.

She is survived by her husband David Foldoe of Bagley, Mn, children Eva (Todd) Staehnke of Shevlin, MN, Amy (Adam) Schultz of Lisbon, ND, and Clinton (Renee) Foldoe of Mt. Union, PA. Grand Children Maddie, Alivia, Keegan, Caitlin, Colton, and Clayton. Brother: Marlin (Karen) Thoring of Pinewood, MN and many nieces and nephews along with all of her bonus children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was preceded by death by her parents Raymond and Adeline Thoring, her in-laws Ruth and Ervin Foldoe, brothers Duane Harstad, Robert and Ricky Thoring. Brother in-law Eric Foldoe and sister in-law Linda Foldoe.

Mary will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared with everyone she met. Her memory will live on in the hearts that knew and loved her. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June, 18th, 2026 at the Shevlin City Park from 11-1. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who offered care, support, and friendship throughout Mary's life.
