Senator Steve Green seeks re-election to the Minnesota Senate

Fosston, Minn. – State Senator Steve Green today announces he is seeking re-election for a second term in the Minnesota Senate representing Senate District 2.

“It has been an honor serving the residents of Northern Minnesota, but our work is far from over,” Green said. “Bringing the concerns and values of folks in my district to St. Paul has been a privilege, and I hope to continue to have the opportunity to represent your voice in the Senate.”

Green has been a strong advocate for Greater Minnesota, focusing on reducing government bloat, clamping down on rampant fraud, and reducing harmful bureaucracy that stifles business and makes government less efficient.

“The fraud, violent crime and chaos coming from St. Paul sheds light on the importance of the upcoming November election. Years of Democrat control has resulted in a lack of checks and balances in our State, and cost Minnesotans billions in cash and driven up the cost of living. Shrinking government and holding agencies accountable remain a top priority,” Green said.

Green was first elected to the Senate in 2022 and currently serves District 2 which includes Lake of the Woods, Beltrami, Clearwater and Mahnomen Counties and communities in Cass, Itasca, Hubbard and Becker Counties. He serves on the Environment, Energy, and Commerce Committees.
