Jeff Navratil

Jeffrey was born at the Clearwater Memorial Hospital, Bagley, to parents Denis and Sally Navratil.

He graduated in 1979 from Bagley High School. He worked after school, while in high school, at Sorensen Motors west of Bagley. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Ord, CA working with heavy equipment. In 1982 he was honorably discharged. On September 21, 1982, he married his sweetheart, Debra Lynn Engberg, in Leonard, MN. They were blessed with two sons, Nathaniel and Thad and made their home in Clearbrook, MN.

Jeff had many hobbies and always kept himself busy. He was always tinkering in the garage on some project he had going. He especially loved riding and restoring motorcycles. He and Debbie also loved animals and took in many stray cats over the years to give them a safe home.

He is survived by his two sons, Nathaniel (Joy) Navratil and Thad (Samantha) Navratil, both of Fargo, ND; grandson, Nolan; his father and mother, Dennis Navratil and Sally Navratil (Hovde) of Clearbrook, MN; his siblings, Danny (Patty) Navratil and Denise Navratil; uncle Mike and aunt Rebecca Navratil, uncle, Henrey Carey; cousin, David Navratil and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Navratil; his grandparents, Leonard and Margie Navratil and Edward and Hattie Hovde; Aunt, Mary Carey, Uncle, Allen and aunt, Paula Navratil.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Sinclair Township Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
