Christopher Scot Erickson

Christopher Scot Erickson, age 37, of Bagley, Minnesota, suddenly passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Bemidji, Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley, Minnesota. Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley assisted the family with arrangements.

Christopher was born on November 17, 1988, to his parents, Shela Bellefy and Erick Erickson. He was baptized at Grace Free Lutheran Church.

Christopher was a devoted family man who treasured the time he spent with those he loved. Family was at the heart of his life, and he especially shared a close bond with his brother. The two spent many hours together playing video games, a hobby they both enjoyed and a source of countless shared memories.

Christopher’s love extended deeply to his daughter, Alaina, who was one of the greatest joys of his life. He also adored his beloved dog, Tank, and treasured the companionship they shared. Above all, Christopher held a special place in his heart for his mother, Shela, whom he truly cherished.

Christopher is survived by his mom, Shela Bellefy; siblings, Logan and CharLee Masurka; daughter, Alaina Erickson; father, Erick Erickson; siblings, Kari Peterson Al-Thanon, Jonathan Erickson, Tyler Erickson, Taylor Erickson, and Thea Erickson; and maternal grandma, Bonnie Bellefy.

Christopher was preceded in death by his maternal grandpa, Marvin Bellefy; paternal grandparents, Kate and Duane Erickson; and godfather & uncle, Tyler Erickson.
