Rachael Cleona Greene

Rachael Cleona Greene, Wase Zhawanung Ikwe (South Light Woman) started her spiritual journey on August 18, 2026.
She began her life growing up on the North Side of Minneapolis with her parents, Steven and Tamara Day, and sister, Kristine Day. Before she turned 18, Rachael moved up north to Red Lake, MN and after a few years there, she welcomed her daughter Justine. Shortly after, she moved to Bemidji where she welcomed her son, Curtis. In Bemidji, she met the love of her life, Jayse Fultz, and have spent the last 18 years together. Rachael had a plethora of friends that she spent time with and held close to her heart.
Rachael loved spending time around her family, friends, and anyone that wanted or needed a chat. She had a certain type of charisma, charm, and love that was so special and impacted those around her. Rachael loved to listen to music, draw, color, bead, watch her favorite shows like Law & Order SVU and Grey’s Anatomy, and scary movies. She truly enjoyed her significant
other’s cooking and most of all, ice cream. Rachael attended both Red Lake Tribal College and Leech Lake Tribal College and was in the process of obtaining her degree.
Rachael is survived by her parents; Steven and Tamara Day, sister; Kristine Day, significant other; Jayse Fultz, and children; Justine Day and Curtis Howg, along with a countless number of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by biological father; Glenn Greene, sister; Kelly Roy, and she ran into the arms of her grandfather John Henry Barrett and grandmother Cleona Barrett.
A celebration of life will be held from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the old Little Rock Community Center.
