Dale J Crepeau, age 86 years, went home to be with his Father in Heaven on August 4, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, August 29th, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3033 Birchmont Dr. NE, Bemidji MN, 56601
Dale was born on June 15, 1940, in Minneapolis, the second son of the late Joseph M. Crepeau and Clarine C. (Swanson). He had two brothers, Roger and Ronnie; and one sister, Karin. Dale married Ruthann (Allen) in 1962 and together they raised a son and 3 daughters in a home filled with love and the teachings of Christ.
Dale grew up in Columbia Heights, Minnesota, where he graduated high school and began a life filled with family, adventure, hard work, and a love for the outdoors. He spent the summers of his youth on his dear Aunt and Uncles farm in Dassel and after marrying his wife Ruthann and the birth of children Brad and Brenda, moved to Clearbrook in 1971. Children Beverly, Breanne and Bonnie joined the family after this. Dale's true joy was found in sharing his passions with those he loved. This included fishing, hunting, shooting, racing, watersports and snowmobiling. He will be deeply missed by all that he shared these passions with.
Dale has rejoined his parents Joseph and Clarine Crepeau, with is Aunt Eilene and Uncle Kermit, his siblings, Roger Crepeau, Ronnie Crepeau, and Karin Dorumsgaard, his treasured wife and eternal companion, Ruthann and his daughter Breanne and Great-Grandchild Millie Ruth Evans.
His memory lives on threw four of his children; Bradley (Cheryl) Crepeau, Brenda (Dean) Shaver, Beverly (Michael) Evans, Bonnie (Jeff) Bowman,
His grandchildren Nathan (Anna) Morris, Lacy (Dan) Gregory, Scott (Autumn) Crepeau, Chloe (Steven) Parker, DJ (Jordon) Shaver, Brandon (Kaylee) Shaver, Ethan (Rose) Evans, Carter (Natalie) Evans, Tanner Evans, LoraLee (Matthew) Wilson, Mia Bowman and Tayla Bowman. Great-Grandchildren Wes, Autumn and Skylar Morris. Colby, Sage, and Davie Gregory. Elsie, Hattie, and Caleb Crepeau. Lennon and Davis Parker. Tucker Shaver. Emma, Avery and Ryley Shaver. Benjamin Evans. Taylor Wilson.
