After becoming a mom, Donna completed her cosmetology degree and opened her own business and was the proud owner of Shear Magic Salon and Tanning Emporium where she continued to provide beauty for her many cherished clients.
Donna was a “self-made” woman who when set her mind to something, it was going to become a reality from her business pursuit, becoming an Emergency Medical Technician, to community support efforts, and this was demonstrated throughout her life in the growth of her business to making sure that all children in her community had Christmas gifts to open on Christmas Day through her volunteer work with The Giving Tree.
Donna loved to fish, especially, walleye, hunt, camp, take road trips, go on vacations with her family, play with her granddaughters, she was always there to lend a nonjudgemental ear or helping hand. Donna loved to sit by the campfire – singing and reminiscing about the “’ol days.”
