This weekend is the 6th Oklee Firemen's Blizzard Bonanza

The winter cold has set in and everyone has been in hibernation since Christmas and New Years. But on February 3rd at the Oklee Community Hall will be the event we all wait for to break the hibernation season. It's the Oklee Firemen's Blizzard Bonanza party.

And what does that mean? It means of night of fun and good food along with the chance to win prizes all night long with raffles for meat and other items .

Tim Eggebraaten will be back for the evening serving as the emcee and also the entertainment along with an unknown element yet to be announced. Two years ago, it was the Newly Wed Game, last year it was a version of Family Fued. What will it be this year. TJ's Tavern will be bartending on site.

The dinner will be a deep fried walleye supper with all the fixings and at the end of the evening, a drawing to be held at 10:00 p.m. for some really great prizes:

 1st prize: Louisiana pellet grill package

2nd prize: Girls Getaway / $500 cash

3rd prize: $500 gift Certificate D&R grocery Oklee

4th prize: Hatfield 12 gauge over under shotgun engraved

And what will all this fun cost? For the simple cost of a $20 ticket you get a great meal and a chance at the big drawing at 10:00 p.m. Can't beat this.
